About Us

Shri Surendra Duggal is the Founder and Managing Partner of Bharat Solvent & Chemical Corporation. Born in 1946, he holds a B.Com. (Hons.) degree from Hansraj College, University of Delhi.

He founded the company in 1970 with a vision to build a trusted business in the trading and distribution of industrial chemicals. During the early 1980s, the company established distributorship relationships with leading organisations including KMML and Thirumalai Chemicals Limited. In the mid-1990s, Bharat Solvent further strengthened its portfolio through distributorships with multinational companies including DuPont and Kilburn Chemicals Ltd.

Throughout his career, Shri Duggal has remained committed to business ethics, professional integrity, product quality, and long-term relationships with principals and customers. His contribution to the paint and coatings industry was recognised with a Lifetime Achievement Award at the IPCA Biennial Conference 2017 in Jaipur.

With more than five decades of experience, Shri Duggal continues to represent the values of integrity, reliability, quality, and long-term partnership that have shaped Bharat Solvent & Chemical Corporation since its inception.

Mr. Rohit Duggal joined the family business in 1999, bringing an MBA in Marketing and Finance and a strong focus on business development and market expansion.

Following his entry into the company, he played a key role in expanding Bharat Solvent's presence across North India and other regions of the country. Through the introduction of new products, development of new customer relationships, and expansion into new markets, he contributed significantly to the growth of the company's existing business base.

His approach combines market understanding, customer relationships, product development, and strategic business expansion, helping Bharat Solvent strengthen its position as a trusted supplier of industrial raw materials.

Mr. Duggal has also served the wider paint and coatings industry through his involvement with the Indian Paint & Coating Association (IPCA) and has recently been appointed President of IPCA for the 2025–27 term.

His leadership reflects the company's continued commitment to growth, innovation, industry relationships, and the next generation of family-led leadership.
