High-efficiency rheology modifiers and Thickening Agents engineered to precisely control viscosity, improve sag resistance, and optimize the flow behavior of water-borne and solvent-based industrial systems.
Available Types: ASE (Alkali-Swellable), HASE (Associative Acrylic), HEC (Cellulosic), and Polyurethane (HEUR)
Primary Function: Viscosity modification, anti-sagging, splash control, and anti-settling stabilization
Key Properties: Superior leveling, rapid thickening activation, and excellent storage stability
Standard Packaging: 25kg multi-wall bags (powders) / 25kg drums / 200kg barrels / 1,000kg IBC totes (liquids)
Thickening Agents (Rheology Modifiers) are specialized industrial additives designed to engineer the flow, application behavior, and storage stability of liquid systems. By creating controlled polymer networks or mechanical entanglements within a formulation, these thickeners adjust low-shear viscosity to prevent pigment settling and sagging, while optimizing high-shear viscosity to ensure effortless brush, roller, or spray application without splattering.
Cellulosic Thickener (HEC): High-molecular-weight Hydroxyethyl Cellulose powder. Provides exceptional water retention, excellent in-can thickening stability, and high compatibility with colors, making it the industry standard for architectural latex paints.
Alkali-Swellable Acrylics (ASE / HASE): Liquid emulsions that activate instantly when the pH is adjusted to an alkaline state (7.0–9.0). They deliver a highly thixotropic behavior, providing strong anti-sag performance and excellent anti-settling properties for heavy fillers.
Polyurethane Thickener (HEUR): Hydrophobically modified ethoxylated urethane associative thickeners. Completely Newtonian or pseudo-plastic in flow, they provide superior leveling, high-gloss preservation, and a smooth, premium finish in high-end topcoats.
Architectural Emulsion Paints: Used across flat, satin, and high-gloss interior/exterior paints to achieve ideal container consistency and prevent sagging on vertical surfaces.
Industrial & Protective Coatings: Applied in water-borne protective coatings, automotive finishes, and wood stains to ensure smooth leveling and precise wet-film thickness control.
Adhesives, Sealants & Grouts: Essential for controlling the slump resistance of construction adhesives, joint compounds, tile mortars, and gap fillers.
Textile & Print Pastes: Optimizes the viscosity profile of textile screen printing pastes and waterbase pigment emulsions to ensure clean, crisp edge definition.

For powder grades (HEC), store in cool, dry conditions and keep bags tightly sealed to avoid lump formation from atmospheric moisture. For liquid grades (ASE/HASE/HEUR), store between 5°C and 40°C to protect against freezing or heat separation. Review the specific Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) and batch-specific Certificate of Analysis (COA) provided prior to manufacturing integration.
